Building Surveys
- we often undertake these detailed inspections for purchasers and prospective tenants, enabling us to advise fully on state of repair. Each report includes a balanced summary and, where appropriate, indicative repair costs.Schedules of Condition
- a prospective tenant should usually have a property's state of repair professionally recorded. If an appropriate schedule is not drawn up a tenant may become liable to serious financial penalties. Expert advice must be obtained before entering into a lease.Dilapidations
- a complicated subject, often misunderstood, these arise from the covenants contained in leases. We prepare Schedules of Dilapidations for landlords, and also act for tenants in Dilapidations claims. If parties to a lease are not properly represented they can lose considerable amounts.Specific Defect Surveys
- we undertake these for owners and occupiers of commercial properties. These involve the investigation and diagnosis of individual building problems, and the provision of advice on remedial works required.
